The first known infection from SARS-COV-2 was discovered in Wuhan, China. The starting date of the virus is estimated to be January 23, 2020. The implementation of strict rules in Wuhan in the first place suprised the whole world. At first, everyone thought it was a normal flu. But they were wrong. The virus quickly swept the world.
Another issue is the symptoms of the virus. Most common symptoms are fever, cough, fatigue, loss of sense of taste or smell. Serious symptoms include difficulty in breathing or shortness of breath, loss of speech or movement or confusion, chest pain. Although it takes on average of five or six days for an infected person to show symptoms, it can take up to 14 days for symptoms to appear.
The virus began to appear in South Korea after China. Covid-19 has affected different people in different ways. Many people died. People have been confined to their homes for a long time to protect themselves from the virus. Everyone started wearing masks. The whole world started to use disinfectant for hygiene.
This virus has affected the whole World including all plants and animals. Plants were dehydrated. Animals went hungry, stood outside in the cold or in the heat. However, environmental pollution has decreased. There have been fewer cars on the roads. Plane flights have been canceled. People could not go to other countries.
Water pollution has decreased. Ship travels stopped. Fish tourism has slowed down. That’s why people did not get protein and minerals. This has caused health problems in humans. One of the issues most affected by the epidemic is education. Corona virus affected children a lot. Children could not go to school. They had to follow their lessons from home. But these online subjects have taken a toll on them and the world’s educational engagement has plummeted. This is a big loss because it affects the lives of children. Another bad side of this epidemic has affected professions.
People could not go to work and earn money. So, people could not make money and get their needs. This led to unhappiness. Tourism suffered during this epidemic period. But mask and disinfectant companies made huge income. Healthcare workers are very tired in this covid period. Because a lot of people got the virus. This caused employees to work day and night. Healthcare workers were deprived of their children or families because of this.
One of the negative aspects of the epidemic is that everywhere are closed. Scientists have produced a large number of vaccines to end the epidemic. The famous of these is Biontech vaccine and Sinovac vaccine. Almost half of the world has been vaccinated to end the epidemic. But they do not yet vaccinate young children. Many strains of virus have emerged recently. One of them is delta variant. Scientists hope to end the epidemic as soom as possible.
